Peds Nurse Job Responsibilities

In pediatric nursing jobs, clinicians provide comprehensive, age-appropriate care to patients aged approximately 30 days to 18 years. Working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, pedi nurses specialize in working with children who have a variety of acute and chronic medical and surgical conditions and/or physical and mental disabilities. Pedi nurses also collaborate with the patient’s family to best promote healthful practices and disease prevention for children.
