St. Joseph Hospital, a member of the Lutheran Health Network, is a 191-bed facility dedicated to meeting the ever-changing needs of neighborhoods in and around the heart of Fort Wayne. Established in 1869, St. Joseph Hospital is Fort Wayne’s first hospital and today provides the community with quality healthcare services including emergency, inpatient and outpatient care; surgical services; rehabilitation; and diagnostic imaging, to name a few. It's also proud to offer both an Orthopaedic Center as well as unsurpassed care for regional patients in the areas of senior health services, hyperbaric medicine and wound care. The St. Joseph Regional Burn Center, verified by the American College of Surgeons and the American Burn Association, is the region’s only verified burn center and one of only three in the state. Under the immediate direction of the Manager or other designated clinical management as assigned, functions as a clinical nurse mentor/preceptor with responsibility for the delivery of individualized, effective nursing care to a module of patients. EVERY WEEKEND, BASE HOURLY RATE + $8.00 WEEKEND PREMIUM Must work the two or three assigned eight or twelve hours (or a total minimum of 16 worked hours between 3:00 p.m. Friday and 7:30 a.m. Monday) every weekend.

Required Qualifications

Qualifications: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse Obtain and maintain certification in required CPR BCLS within 60 days of hire ACLS within one year of hire EKG certification within 3 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications

BSN Preferred 2+ years experience
