Job Description & Requirements

PURPOSE OF POSITION The Surgical Technologist and/or the Certified Surgical Technologist prepares the room and gathers supplies needed for surgical procedures; delivers instruments to the surgeon and other members of the surgical team intra operatively; may function as second assistant to the surgeon; assists in the proper decontamination of the room, supplies and instruments post operatively. The OhioHealth Bone & Joint Center is a state-of-the-art facility that provides comprehensive advanced treatment for all musculoskeletal (bone, joint and muscle) conditions. We’ve added 63,000 square feet to the Bone & Joint Center, designing it with our patients in mind, including private rooms, accessible entrances and free valet parking for our patients

Required Qualifications

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technologist school or equivalent military training, ASAP SD ONLY Must have 3.5+ years of experience and have prior travel experience. Candidates must have level I or level II trauma center experience. New grads and or first time travelers will not be considered for this assignment.
