Job Description & Requirements

Kaiser's mission statement is to exist to provide affordable, high quality healthcare services to improve the health of the members and communities they serve.  Kaiser is currently hiring Speech Pathologists to provide individualized patient care at their Portland locations. The Speech Pathologist will provide this treatment per physician's order and coordinate therapeutic activities with the patient, caregiver and other health care disciplines. 

Job Functions: 
• Evaluate patient's communication/articulation, physical, cognitive, breathing, swallowing status to determine the current level of functioning, self-care, self-responsibility, independence and quality of life.
• Develop and implement a treatment plan which involves the patient, family.
• Provide timely and complete documentation following evaluations.
• Coordinate therapy activities with other health care disciplines.
