Pediatric Intensive Care - PICU Nurse - (PICU RN)

The pediatric intensive care nurse (PICU RN) provides cares for children and adolescents, usually up to the age of 18, with life-threatening or high-acuity conditions that require constant monitoring. Working in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU), a high-tech children’s services area for critically ill, medically complex, and/or post-surgical patients, the pediatric intensive care RN collaborates with families, physicians, and other healthcare officials to determine the best course of patient care and recovery.

Required Qualifications
36 hours/week, 8 week contract with Epic training to begin on January 14th and 15th, MUST be available for both days of training (8am-5pm these 2 days) Can work in unit after the classroom training to complete 12 hour shift for the 14th and 15th.

May be asked to float to NICU - NICU experience preferred

REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Ohio. Current Health Care Provider BLS training from the American Heart Association is required. PALS required. NRP, ACLS preferred. (2) years PICU experience required.
